took him back to Petco, and traded it for a small Angel fish, and 2 chinese algae eaters, blue backround for the tank, and a cool looking Bucaneer for the tank :D

Sorry to hear about your angel :( he looked a nice fish. Just a word of caution about the chinese algae eaters though, these guys can get really terratorial and also attack other fish, developing a taste for fish slime over algae! Mine suceeded in murdering a couple of fish before I remove him from my 40gal community tank. Take care I wouldnt want any more deaths in your tank.

Ya, i've been told about that. I will remove them within a month and replace them with Ottos B)

lol smb
I hate them myself...I had a few prawn at one time and  ,they ate a few of my kuhlies and tried relentlessly to catch my fish :sly: :grr: :grr:

Sorry about your angel :/

I have a crawfish, He was blue but since I moved house 2 months ago he has been almost black.

All my other fish have made the move with no probs even my seven 5" silver doller.

The only other worry with my craw fish is that their is a 6" alge eater missing for the last week, has he eaten it? :dunno: I hope not.

Sorry about the angel, I can sympathise!

I got a blue Crawfish when it was only about an inch long and fed it shrimp pellets. Never had a problem until it got to be about six inches long - I came home and found my own angelfish in it's grasp as it was munching away. Needless to say it went back to the store! (and I got substantially more then I paid too :)

sorry about your angel. I love angelfish. That reminds me of the time I put a blue crayfish in with my chichlids, not realizing they drop their shell....when he did the chichlids ate him!! it was pretty gross.

Whoa! I didn't know that crayfish would eat the angelfish! Do ghost shrimp grow as large and eat the fish in the tank? I was thinking about getting one but now I am scared! I love my fish and would be really ticked off if my guppies got eaten.
