well, i am sorry he says you can't have one but tell him out of all the animals i have had this is the easiest one i have ever had to deal with .. change of water when needed and feed once a day or so.. i thought when we got him that he wouldn't live long cause i know how my daughter was when we got him and he is tough our dog got a hold of him once when we first got them both. and well as you can see he has servived.. and he loves his water the deeper the better..
he is trained to take the food out of our hands and he eats turtle sticks and goldfish.. he loves to play too..

We had a red ear slider that our store inherited in someone's will, he was 47 when he died!

So that's a red ear slider! I've heard good things about them.

Do you have any more pictures? Perhaps you can find one to post that shows his character (or at least his face ) a little more. With a different picture he might have a better chance at a POTM nomination.

well inchworm i don't have any others at this time but for sure to get them this weekend and show them he is a trained red eared slider.. he can fetch the food from your hand my daughter is entering him for the second year in a talent contest at our local feed store this sat..
he has done this once before and he got second place in talent and 1st in the oddest pet... we are hopeing to do better this year they asked us to come back...
