Fish Crazy
Sorry I've been away and not updated lately.
I've had my fish for 6 months now
I have no idea where the time has gone!
I lost a bristle nose about a month ago, no symptoms or damage, just dead
Checked all water conditions etc and the other two BN are still ok, so maybe he sat on the heater too long or was stressed, or not getting his share of the food.
Other than that the other fish are doing great. Still not as big as I thought they would be, I'm guessing they are about 10 months old, does anyone know how big they should be at this age? They have grown, just seems slow.
I was also hoping they may have started breeding by now. The Afra's started shimmying about 3 months ago, there has been some circling with all of them and two elongatas appeared to lock mouths at one point, but no damage done.
I might put some ceramic pots in the corners, increase private places! If they should be breeding at this age, what are the best things to do to get them to spawn?
