Weird Tail Shapes

Its such a shame that my red tailed female died after her second batch of fry were born. Anyhow... her male offspring all have bizarre shaped tails... I think I like bizarre!

The one in the center is from her first batch and I completely love his tail, the photo doesn't do it justice in the slightest... it looks like a flowing ruffle to me when he swims. The one at the top of the photo ALMOST has a normal fantail shape... almost.

This one has all sorts of bits sticking out..

I don't know what you'd call this tail shaped... confused? (And it hasn't been bitten or anything)
