weird looking pleco type?

just went to my lfs and saw these wierd looking plecos i think they were called bormi somethink i cant remember they dont just have a sucking disk mouth they also have about 80%of there body sucking they were weird does any body have any information on them all looked on the net and cant find any info about them

Borneo sucker fish ? Or hillstream loach or Hong Kong plect etc. etc. as they are also known. Here and here is some more information about them

In essence, they require cool, well oxygenated, moving water. They are usually kept with goldfish and do not fare well in a tropical setup.

thanxs yeh thats them they were kept with tetras in my lfs i wouldnt mind getting 1 but i have my tank at 26 c so i doubt they would live happy?

Nope that would definitely not be best I'm afraid. They might last a few months but eventually they'll just die
