i have 2 females, and whenever i sit down in a chair next to them, they always swim torwards me, but my 3 males dont do anything. also, one of my females always wants to spawn, she has vertical bars even though shes beat up from the last spawn, and i only feed her pellets. is this all normal?

Yes, it is normal, as long as it is normal for those bettas. What I mean is, did the males used to come over and now they don't? If so, that could be a problem. But if nothing has changed then it is most likely ok. Different fish, different personalities.
Even the stripes are ok. I would assume it is just like males making a bubble nest, as sign of happiness and contentment as much as needing to breed. Can she see the males from where she is? That might have something to do with it.

Maybe she is a flirt

None of what you have said seems to indicate any need for worry.

she cant see the males, unless she can see through paper  my 3 males build bubblenests. they all have different bubblenest designs. one makes small bubbles, one covers the surface with bubbles(which is annoying cause i have to remove it every few days or the pellets wont go into the water), and one stacks it up. can you tell me what color betta this is? do you think its colors will change? i like his colors

Your females aren't housed together, are they? The reason I mention it is that vertical bars can be a sign of aggression...

Edit: that betta looks pastel to me... either that or opaque with blue and red wash.

looks like my betta only instead of blue-ish on the fins its green-ish. an his eyes are really blue too :D

they could be from stress
i think theyre just happy girls. My babrs and platies swim to me too.Its cute they follow my finger around the tank
