I have a pair of sajica cichlids that have just laid eggs. the male has started to act a bit strange: Hes swimming over to the air curtain and collecting bubbles in his mouth, then swimming back to the eggs and letting this one bubble go just in front of them!!! It looks really funny, but is it normal, or is it due to the fact that because of the heat in england today, my tank is currently at 29 degrees C (84F)??

maybe it is because of the heat and the fact that there's less oxygen in the water. maybe you could add an airstone?

I've got a 45" air curtain!!!!!!! I think that should be enough (hopefully!!)

That should provide enough disturbance for oxygen so I doubt it's a low oxygen problem. It might be natural though. Ask in the Cichlids forum where there are more knowledgeable people on them.
