Week old fry!

7 balloon molly fry have survived. One got taken into the filter yesterday sometime and I searched and couldn’t find it. The rest are doing well. Healthy. Eating sometimes 4 times a day. Stomachs full and pooping after every meal. I do a Water change every other day, 70 percent.

Some are starting to show spots , a couple look orange and most look like a whiter color. They all have good personalities too. Haha.

Me too. I’m so happy to finally have some. Under very weird circumstances, and very stressful circumstances, but everything turned out well. And mama is looking good. Very active. Still some Gravid spot , but I’ll watch. She may have about three weeks until I expect more do you think ?

Sooo cute if she has any still she may drop a few more depending on how relaxed she is. Sometimes they drop a few at a time when stressed -survival instinct . I have had them drop some up to two weeks later.

Well did my water change today , saw 6 fry out of 8. Guessing another one made it into the filter , but didn’t survive because I looked. The others are starting to finally get bigger so I don’t think I’ll have that issue anymore. So 6 of 8 I guess isn’t too bad.
