weatherloach... playing dead?!

Ok, sorry about that but was just making sure because when I set my tank up I had no idea about cycling or water parameters!!

Here is a pic of my loach. Not the best pic I have to admit but you can see him quite clearly at the front of the tank.

All the best and I am sure you will not have to face the fish judge under the charge of fish slaughter. I am certain that your loach is going to be ok, just give him a couple of days to settle in.

When addind a fish from a bag you can drain the bag through a net and into a bucket that way you dont stress the fish by chasing it.

Just a thought. :D

He still looks alive... well at least he's changed position slightly since last night!!
He's taken a bit of a fancy to a small rock i have in there and seems to think he's hidden behind it :kana:

Both of my loach went to ground, one on Friday and one on Saturday morning when I did my weekly water change. I was, and still am so worried that I had not seen them for three days that I decided to do another part water change. The one that dissapeared on Saturday was in the filter pump, the other is still aloof. My loach do not normally go missing for more than a few hours, and even then you can always see their heads or barbs or tails. I am fretting like mad here. How long can these guys hide in the gravel for?
