one of my snails was sick, like it would crall 4 inches on to the side of the tank, then fall on to its back, it stopped eating, and has a small crack in his/her shell, and another was minding his/her own business, and one cralls on top of it, a then does what looked like attacking its face. my ten gallon has been running for two weeks now so i put them in there with two alge waffers, the were both eating fine, but i still don't want to put them back in the 47 gallon yet.

all of the Bala Sharks have some missing scalls...

Mango turns out to be a common, not a BN, you were right, @PlasticGalaxy . i have to return her, too..

If you think the sharks are sick you should return them asap so the store can treat them, along with the pleco since you're already making the trip. Is your question about what's going on with your snails?

Sorry to hear about the problems you're having.
I would definitely return the bala sharks and plec as soon as possible. And, again, buy from a more reputable shop. BNPs are rather easy to identify in my experience, so it'll be easy to find those.

I have to agree with the others. Return all the fish to the shop. If I recall correctly, you were the user who put 18 Guppies in a tiny BettaFalls tank. It honestly seems to me like you are not well informed enough to take on fish keeping. Are you a minor?

Bala sharks and common plecos do not belong in 47 gallon tanks unfortunately. Be sure to ASK HERE about stocking ideas and care before buying any more fish. You are putting all the wrong species in the wrong sized tanks etc.

Experienced keepers will be more than happy to assist you in stocking your tanks properly so you won't continue to have problems. And your snail probably has shell rot due to not enough calcium. They eventually die if this progresses. I use crushed oyster shells mixed into my substrate and seachem equilibrium added to the water. Some use cuttle bones or other calcium sources.

ik, ik... the only reason i got the sharks is bc my little brother almost had a mental-breakdown in the middle of a pet store, and i thought their minnimum tank size was a 30 gallon, and the pleco i thought was a BN

Cuttlebones are pretty cheap on a side note, I was advised by a member to also place a piece in my filter box as well as inside the tank for snails. Also don't forget they do need additional food, for longevity it's a good idea to offer them a variety of foods and not solely rely on algae buildup as their food source. They can eat blanched vegetables just as a pleco would, algae wafers also as you fed yours earlier. With the calcium supplements your snail may be able to heal the tissue under the cracked shell, depending on severity. Just maintain clean water and feedings
