Wave Generator

Hi Guys .. this may be a stupid idea .. but please tell me what you think

parts required

2 x wave generatops
2 x timers

take 1 wave and 1 timer fix to left hand side of tank and set timer from 1 - 12 repeat with 2nd wave and timer to right hand side and set from 12 -1 .. i hope this makes sense (it does in my head .. but thats not saying a lot)

i am hoping that this might imatate the tides .. what do you think .. is it poss ,, or is it stupid

well quite a lot of pumps are designed to run continually. so by adding the timer you will be damaging the pumps long term unless you but ones that say they are controllable.

id just buy a pair of tunzes and a controller or vortechs if you dont mind shelling out

Didn't know that .. still i thought it was to easy and cheap .. back to the drawing board . thanks for putting me right

theres a fair few on the market that are perfectly capable of being turned on and off regularly you just have to make sure you buy one
