Wattage question

I just posted on your CO2 thread. :p

I have the same amount of wpg on my aquarium, and my plants truly do benefit from the addition of CO2. I would recommend the same to you. The yeast method is a cheap way to go about it, and many people have great success with it.

I have a 29 gallon with 75 watts do I NEED to use Co2 or any other type of additives

I would guess that at that light level you'll probably find you'll need to inject CO2 to keep the plants healthy, as Bangin said. Will most likely find that you will benefit from a small fertilizer regimen, too.

By the way, 75W seems like an sort of odd amount of light. Out of curiosity, what combinations/types of bulbs do you have over the tank? The only combo I can think of off the top of my head is a 55W Compact Fluoro and a 20W normal output fluoro.

Or 35W x 2 like mine, C02 is great just keep an eye on pH, make sure you have a one way valve (or a mop....lol), and add some liquid fertilizer
because of the light and C02

Good luck, you'll enjoy the differnce with C02
