ok my guppies r due next week sry gave u guys wrong info before but one of the females is just HUGE probly and inch in diameter and i hav her in a breeder box but the other 3 out in the tank but is this a bad idea b/c i just came home tonight and the top half of her has turned black andyboyd know wat this is

take her out of the box she is definatly stressed but not cuz of the black i think that could be stess but not sure.
if you are scared that the fry will get eaten, shove all of your plants into that tank, when you see a baby take the parents out, remove all of the plants and get those babies. never use a breeder box it just doesn't work(when females are stressed and prego they hold the babies longer)

Are you positive she's pregnant though? Are her scales sticking out at all or does it appear like she's filling up with fluid at all etc? There are some deseases that make the fish swell up and can give the appearance of pregancy, if you can get any pics that would help alot, i agree though the breeding net/trap is not going to help either way wether she's pregnant or not.

well take a look at the other fish in my tank and ul get the picture y i hav her in a breeding box i was just going to do it b/c i wanted to c wat some baby guppies would look like and try to rais them b/c the other 3 guppies seem to be pregnant too but the other 3 babies r supposed to be food but ill take her out and sry cnat show pics b/c my dad doesnt hav a digital camera sry
