Waterlife Ammonia Test?

hi i just got the two small bottles of waterlife ammonia tester for test tubes, they came with two bottles ammonia x and ammonia y where you add 8 drops of each into your test tube along wiv your tank water.

the problem is i got them off my neighboor who have lost the box where on the back it will tell you what colour is good ammonia levels and bad etc.

can anyone tell me or does anybody no what the good or bad colour readings are ??

my test tube came up as a really light yellow colour is this good or bad ??

i don't know if it's exactly the same for them all, i assume it would be, but light yellow is 0 on mine

These test kits have a date expiry and as the cost is so low I would suggest you invest in a new one.

it dosent expire for another 6 months ...also mi nitrate level is a reali light pink white colour which is around 1-2 level so i presume that thr is no ammonia in my tank water due to taxicab comment aslo nitrite levels wil have a little spike amfter ammonia has gone down is this correct ?

Since I don't remeber hearing you say I will mention on my ammonia tests you do 8 drops of one then 8 drops of the second, shake and then wait five minutes. I did not not hear that you waited but maybe you did. It starts out light yellow and then gets greener according to amount of ammonia presence. Light yellow is low going up to a very dark green(almost black) which indicates a high level.
