water temp

im a bit worried about the temp of my water, you see im here in the Phil and its kinda hot here and during lunch time when i dip my hand into the tank to see the temp, well its kinda luke warm, im thinking its harmfull to my fish ??

is it ?? im gonna get a thermometer soon, what temps are good planted tank temps ?? i dont wanna boil my fishes !!

You don't have a thermometer!! Tut tut.

Most community fish and plants are best between 24 and 27C

I would say thermometer is just below filter on the list of things to buy for the tank

If it feels lukewarm, that means it's probably above 80 F because 78 should feel only very slightly warm.

I live in the same region as you are, so probably daytime temperature can go as high as 30-31 C, a little too high for the plants, although may be OK for tropical fish. Get a fan (clip over the tank / DIY), will help cool down around 2-3 degrees.

akkk !!! its just like going to school without a pen hahaah im gonna get one right away... im gonna get the fan too, im also thinking its bad for the plants and fish ? or maybe just the plants hmmmm
