I noticed each week the water level goes down by a couple millimeters. I always check under the tank if there is leaking of any kind, but there isn't. Everything is dry.

Could this just be the fish's consumption of water and evaporation?

Sounds like evaporation to me. Usually the drop isn't too significant by the time of your weekly water change and you would just fill the tank full again. Sometimes a really hot streak or dry spell can cause the level to drop faster. In that case, just top it up with dechlorinated tap water.

from the sound of it your not doing weekly water changes

Thanks for the replies.

I do weekly water changes. Sometimes twice a week.

I guess because the weather here where I live is getting warmer, so I noticed the water level drop more.

evaporation just kept on checking what levels for a little while and add new water make sure you dont add tap water cheeers david

Evaporation =)

I lose about an inch a week in some of my tanks, so I top up mid-week and do a weekly water change.
