ok so i have given away my remaining danios and ive been thinking of doing somthing a little different.

as you may or may not know i have 1 5inch gn, 1 5.5 inch bn, 2 x clown plecos and 3 peppered corys.

my plan is to set my 2 ft/60l tank back up purely for my clowns only, so it will basically be a clown pleco species tank only.ive had 2 filters running in my main tank for 2 months now because i think i had this in mind at the start.since the clown plecos where put in the big tank they have gone very shy and i think its down to my feisty female bn.lol my clown plecos where my first plecos and i want them to be happy and peaceful so there own tank sounds like a great idea..

now my bigger plan is to reduce the water level im my 4ft tank to about half way.......sounds mad huh? yup!

im sticking with my gn, bn and upto 6 maybe 8 corys but im not sure yet because the volume of water will be halved. i have a very good internal filter rated at 1000 liters per hour that im using at the moment.the reason why im halving the water is because im going to try and make a tank that would house fish and lizards if you know what i mean. i dont know the correct term for a tank with water and dry land  but i like the idea and i think it would look fantastic.

does anyone know the correct term fr a water/land tank?

also any views, concerns etc are very welcome :)

mark.

like a paludarium, im making one out of my ~30 gallon tank, theres a topic in the aquarium pictures area with someone building one, they are awesome, i cant wait until they're done.

yeah, mines gunna be about 6 times the size, and i might have a lizard in it, depends if i can maintain a high(ish) tempurature and hmidity
