water conditioner, ammonia clash

hi all


i just then bought some products for my tank, as i am preparing for a fishless cycle.

but i noticed just then, that on my water conditioner bottle(which gets rid of clorine) it also says, it gets rid of ammonia.
so what should i do? because fishless cycles need the addition of ammonia, but if this stuff is there, itll get rid of it.

so should i just add alot more ammonai than the water conditioner stuff?
or what?

any suggestions will be great.

You just need to get a water conditioner that doesn't contain an ammonia locker. I recomment Stresscoat.
