water changes

buy some tubing and syphon any yukky stuff out, condition some water, put some ager in it and then fill the bowl up with ur replacement water

i have to buy a syphon and all that for a little bowl? lol i mean i dont mind, i wish i could put him in his own 50 gallon tank but i dont know how my mom would take it.... is there a better, cheaper way?

all u need is tubing for a spyphn u kno like the ones u get for a filter, u can get it for like a dollar just asked at ur lfs if they sell tubing for filters

ok.. picture puting one end of the tube into the bowl, and the other end of the tube get another bowl or bucket ready to pour the water in, then suck on the tube not in the water until water comes out, and wala u got a syphon :) just try not to get any fish poo in ur mouth  hehe

you dont need a siphon if you change the water often. a 1 gallon bowl has to be changed at least once a week. you can use a piece of airline tubing for a siphon if you want to clean out excess poop inbetween water changes.

i said airline tubing, besides isnt it a little hard to clean without some kind of syphon  ?

just dump out the water and everything in the bowl and add clean conditioned water. acclimate the betta.

ok but thats a FULL water change not a patial wat if one wanted to make a partial water change? :p

its a 1 gal bowl. most people are not going to do partial water changes. partial water changes are usually for cycled tanks.

o ok sorri i dont really kno wat a gallon is im use to littres

I have mine in 2 Gallon tanks and do a full cleaning once a week. During the rest of the week I use a turkey baster to get all the crud out. I use it every day when I'm feeding them. Works like a charm.

i dont think soo after all when ur drinking coke with a straw or something its doesnt constantly pour out does it?
