water change temperature

i have troble bringing the water i use to do water changes to the right temperature.
HELP!

Use a kettle to boil some water. pour some cold into a jug and add the boiled water to that you wont need alot, then use a thermometer to see what the water temp is......dosnt have to be exact

It shouldn't matter. I put cold water in my tropical tank but the heater gets to work very quickly. Unless it's very cold.
