no, its a new guinea datnoid (Datnioides campbelli). one of the rare varients of datnoids. i have 3 of them in a tank with my other datnoids. they cost a pretty penny, but are well worth it imo.
and let me tell you, when you start paying well over $200/ea for fish, you will be more inclined to make sure theyre well taken care of.

Anything less then 25-30% weekly is poor husbandry. If someone can't make time AT LEAST once a week to make sure their fish arent swimming in their own waste, then they have no business keeping fish imo.

For instance, Tanganyikan Cichlids originate from a VERY stable environment in respect of temperature and PH levels. Therefore a change of water above 20% will alter the levels to their detriment.
I am sure other fishkeepers have equally as good reasons for the level and frequency of their water changes and would regard your comment as rather silly
