Miss Wiggle
Practically perfect in every way
well i'm sure i've mentioned before what a total disaster my first tank was, fish-in cycle, terrible stocking, well i didn't know i needed to use dechlor so i didn't. used straight tapwater for at least the first year of fishkeeping, and while i had problems which i can now attribute back to a fish-in cycle or poor fish selection there's nothing i can trace back to not using dechlor. Shame I wasn't testing to be able to put some quantification to my gut feelings about it.
But my general view now and it's one shared by quite a few people on the forum, is that dechlor is cheap and easy to use, v v hard to go wrong with it therefore you may as well use it, but if I ran out and needed to do a change without it or just forget I wouldn't be having a mass panic over it.
