water bridge

i have an idea for a water bridge for my 30 gallon tank. i wabt to conntce 3 lengths of clear pvc tubing with 2 elbows i think this look would be different and it could be something new for my fish. any opinons would be cool.

i tied one like that andi cant keep the water in the tubes at the top...how do u keep the water in there??
