Was My Lr Uncured?

I waited for 3 days after my last test above, which had some high levels.

So today it is:-

pH - 8.2
KH - 10.5
Ammonia - <0.01 ppm
Nitrite - 0.2 ppm
Nitrate - 20 ppm

What a difference from 3 days ago. Go on the LR!

So nearly cleaner crew time ;)

My levels seem to have stabilised at

pH - 8.2
KH - 10.5
Ammonia - 0.05 ppm
Nitrite - 0.2 ppm
Nitrate - 20 ppm

But they won't drop the last stage, to zero...

I'm wondering whether I should take my LR out and scrub all the old dead stuff off it. I had quite a large die off when it was delivered and first put in the tank, and theres some dead stuff hanging off the LR.

Do you think I should try this to get the levels perfect or should I sit it out?

Cheers,

Patience my son. While you're waiting you might want your LFS to verify your readings by taking a sample to them ;)

Lol, I'm at the complete opposite end of the state from NYC. Bout an 8 hour drive from my house to Manhattan :S so unfortunately, I dont know any good marine shops in the City. Buffalo is pretty much right where Great Lakes Erie and Ontario meet... I'm a whopping 20 minutes from Niagara Falls though, and thats kinda cool 8) . Just to give you an idea, NY is about the same distance as London to Newcastle if googlemaps are to be believed :D

Edit: All of my family is down there though so I'm pretty well versed in lots of sight seeing if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask :D

Ooo another step closer to stalking you :shifty:
