I can totally see that happening. Along with the Legless shouting. X)))just reading on StrayFM's website that a woman from Burnley has come forward to say it could be hers. She lost her snake on 12th June and suspects it may have got into her father's van as he then drove to Harrogate. He reports hearing strange noises on the journey that he put down to possible exhaust rattles.
The lady says he's very tame and isn't due to eat for another 3 weeks. He's never eaten anything larger than a rat and is easy to handle .... er okay. Cue large amounts of people going to swinsty waving around dead rats lol
God I hope they find him soon

well, there's no new updates on the strayFM website (that's our local radio station) so I'm presuming 'Legless' is still at large.
The problem is now that it's been a very wet few days - it's also been quite cold. My guess would be that our slippery friend has found himself a dry, warm rabbit hole and is staying put until thing warm up a bit. It could be hiding for weeks!

Note that people eat roasted cobra in some places...I very much doubt anybody would want to eat the snake

Saw it on TV when there was this show I used to watch. They had several challenges.
One of them was to put their hands inside some tanks with creatures (could be anything, from fluffy bunnies and hamsters to maggots, lizards and snakes). Nothing weird here. It was pretty funny too when they were scared to put their hands (they were blindfolded) into the tanks.
The other challenge was to either:
a) Eat something blindfolded and guess what it was or contains.
b) Choose a random plate (that was covered) and EAT the stuff on it.
One of the contestants, a woman, chose a plate on which there was a roasted cobra... which was coiled and its head pointing up, as if looking at her. LOL!!!
She ate it. ._. Then she said it tastes like fish. (finally, something that doesn't taste like chicken).
