Can anyone tell me, if I placed my pregnant platy into another cycled tank with slightly warmer water...would this help to encourage her to possibly give birth? She been pregnant for 5 weeks now, is squared off more this last week but no signs of anything happening,,,any advice?
Or..is it possible for a fish to get fat and look pregnant as she is always hungry....(Have thought of dropsy and it's not that). I'm just not sure.
