Up until now, I've always used two things to prep my tank water: a regular dechlorinator and a pH regulator. Today I needed to buy more chemicals, but I was in the pool so mum went to get them. She came home saying that Jason (LFS manager) didn't have one of the chemicals I needed, it's out of stock all over the country. So he reccommended another chemical from the same brand, Wardley 3 in 1, which buffers the pH, neutralises ammonia and eliminates chlorine and chloramines. Apparently he uses it now and it's good.

Has anyone used this product before? I'm nervous about using it, don't want to hurt my babies...

sounds like it'd be ok, might want to look it up first thogh and make sure its not for larger tanks, in that case you would need to dilute it.

Thanks GuppyDude. :)

I've mixed the water and I'm just letting it sit for 30 minutes - that's what I had to do with the other stuff to let it alter the pH safely.

The dosage measurements are for a 10 gal tank, Mum and I worked it out and I only needed 1.35 mLs for a 100% water change. I think it should be okay...
