For fish I think whitecloud minnows, or paradise, bettas? Anyone ever make one or have good ideas. Was thinking a kiddie pool or one of those big plastic containers and a diy canister filter. Anyone ever make one and what did ya use?

I always thought it would be pretty to use a very large flower but that was plastic and didn't have the drainage hole in the bottom or a ceramic one with a plastic liner.

I'd be afraid of a 'pop up' pond. What if the pond randomly 'popped down' or if a dog, cat, or kid, bumped into it?

I have made 3 indoor ponds. I finished my most recent last week. I used a mixing tub (3' x 5' and 10" high) and lined it with thick black plastic because the tub is gray and shows algae and slim to easy. I bought some pine planks and built a "fence" to go around it and put a lip ontop with a couple of small shelfs in the corner for plants or candles. I have a pump/filter combo that works just fine, I clean it out a couple times a month. I have goldfish in it and I have added some water lilies to this pond. I can email you a picture if you'd like.
