I recently bought some amano shrimp, and although they're getting slowly braver. I rarely see them when the light it on so would like to make things a bit more comfortable for them.

They have a large bit of bogwood they live in/under. And plenty of other places too hide so I never see them.

I was thinking of buying some plants that might encourage them out, I hear moss balls are good for this.

Any for sale?

mosses, HC, any forground plant

Ooo HC looks nice if anyone has any. If not I might track some down anyways.

I could make a nice little bush/matt/mound out of that :)

Edit: looks like it's very demanding of CO2... can't really be bothered to set that up so I'm bending back towards a moss ball.

Glosso might work, but it can be demanding like HC. You could do some moss pebbles, tying some moss to stones and arranging them nicely. Fissidens Fontanus is a great moss if you can get hold of it :)

I have several moss balls that have grown to big, want about £3 each for them though, also have the following plants which are overgrowding my tank

anubias
vallis
riccia
elodia
hygrophilla corymbosa angustifolia
rotala rotundifolia
java fern
limnophilia
