Wanted: Nice/easy Plants

Good morning all,

I have decided to try and cut back on high maintenance plants, but still create a nice look. The problem is my tank is just sand with some JBL added in areas, I want to start again, but Clown Loaches have burrowed in wood, and would be difficult to place all anywhere while I drain and re scape!

However, looking for some really easy, not so fusy, hardy, true aquatic plants. Vallis, jungle/twisted, hard bearing crypts, and any suggestions anyone has that they can throw in some cuttings/bunches.

I have a 180ltr that is empty of being landscaped and a 450ltr that Im going to re do.

At the time I paid around the region of £850 for it!
 
But they are still plantless!

also, for ideas, I find java fern and vallis the easiest plant by far!  (my water is quite neutral and have low tech)
