Lol i guess all i can do it wait and see, btw the house was only built in 1989 and its based in kendal cumbria dunno if that makes much difference to how strong my walls r gonna be? that part really doesnt bother me my dad can do building and will sort me out getting the thing solid its the whole keeping fish thing that im a lil unsure about :S

ok just did a quick calc, you are looking at about 38kg of weight give or take a bit. 3 studs can hold a small adult/child on them so just make sure you spread it across 4 studs and you will be fine. as long as the studs are securely fastened too :)

**disclaimer** I do not condone or conduct the fixing of small adults and/or cchildren to walls, this was only a metaphor.

in britain you'd be very lucky to get 5 studs accross 66". Four, more thna likely 3 as a number of builders, especially in the 60s and 70s , didnt follow proper building plans when it came to the partition walls and put studs in at eithe 18" or 22" (the 22" required slightly bigger studs but was still cheaper than more of them.)

Betts homes built 410 houses in this estate and 31 houses in this street. From first glance (excluding added extensions etc) they do look very similar and in fact, every house was built from the same plans. However, we guarantee you, that no two of these houses are the same. windows in diff places, internal walls, building specification.

Wow, 22 inches on center that's crazy. What's standard over ther now?
