since my first bunch of fry came out of the mother they are doing fine, and now i have another bunch of fry waiting for em to come out. since i did not see them while they are mating i want to know

is there anyway of finding who the father is?

Get all possible fathers to go on the Jeremy Kyle show to have DNA tests.

What type of fish is it in-particular....? (You can usually tell a pair from the behaviour, if Cichlids)

I dont think there is much you can do.. but like rossyt99 said, you may get a clue from some behaviour. IME, the male trys to bully abit more "action" out of her for a few days to follow.

Btw, what species are we dealing with here ? i.e, female and possible fathers ??

It could be any male, it dosn't nesseserily have to be the dominant.. Is there no sort of behaviour going on that may give you a clue ? Like a male keeping kinda close at times maybe ?

Unless you observe the spawning, there is no way to tell which male it was.
