HI, just received a new tank. :hyper:
length is 72" , width is 18" , height is 24"
was described as 598ltr/131 UK Gall , on another site ir comes to 509ltr/112 UK Gall, tank has 10mm glass. . . .
How much do you reckon it holds ?

Well if the tank was filled to the top and you had nothing else in it then it would be around the 510 ltrs.

Adding substrate, decorations, heater and even fish will reduce this quite a bit. Then there is the glass if the dimensions are taken from the outside (which they usually are)
 
That's because you used the external dimensions.

My first calculation was wrong, when full it will hold 466 Litres.
