Leopard Geckos are around the same size and care level, though they have a few differences. They're from the desert, so they like it very dry, and need a spotlight which gets up to 32 degrees, as well as at least some heat above room temperature at night. A spotlight should suffice. Also, you have to feed them live insects.

thanks im not sure ill get in time for xmas so im gonna go with the lepoard geko,

aobut feeding live insects, how do you feed them, put the qhole box in or do you pick a few out, how do you stop them going everywhere?

Stick 'em in the fridge for an hour, that slows 'em down so you can pick a couple out.
