ok, so the general consensus is that these guys are supposed to be reef-safe and peaceful, right? well, mine keeps killing the inverts I put in the tank. she attacks snails, shrimp, even lg fan worms. its a 29gal w/ plenty of live-rock, and a low bio-load. there arent many fish in there, so I dont understand why she would be so grumpy. she picks and chooses what she does and doesnt like, so I never know what shes going to attack when I bring anything home. rearranging the rock-work with new intros isnt really a good option with all the cluster fan worms and the way they all fit. I am fairly attached to this fish, as it was the first addition to my saltwater tank, so I really dont want to get rid of her. anyone have any tips, experiences, or suggestions? :/

Hold old/large is she? Do you have a pair or just her?

I have a mated pair that will attempt to kill almost anything that enters their area and have seen them kill several snails. Unfortunately you sometimes get some that are "bossier" than others. Live rock re-arrangement would be my recommendation but if you don't want to do that I'm not sure what else I can suggest.

I have a pair of maroon clowns in my tank, and they are vicious, granted maroons are generally more aggressive, but still, clowns generally can get nasty, it's not uncommon for them to bite their owners whenever they put their hands into the tank.
