I made a wee video of my roma because I was playing with my dv camera. For some reason when I did my water change today the filter stopped and I didn't realise until a few hours after and the water was a little cloudy. It was crystal yesterday.

Anyway my video is here :)

I'm a bit concerned by a couple of things I can see.

One is that you've got rather a lot of fish hanging around at the surface. I'm tempted to suggest that this might be due to a lack of aeration as I don't see any power filters or air stones. It could also be water quality, so you might want to do a test.

Also you've got some nipping behaviour between your rams, one of which is acting a little odd just sitting there on the bottom. I'm sure this is just down to settling in, but you might want to keep an eye on it.

Other than that I like it! I like your planted section, I assume you're gradually building up the decor. Got anything planned for the rest of the tank?

I tested my water yesterday and it was all fine. I've got lots of plants in there so figured I don't need an air stone.

And the rams are new. I could get an air stone.

You may have plants - but they only make oxygen while the lights are on! As soon as the lights go out they stop producing oxygen and you are left with the plants demand for oxygen as they continue to "breathe". They "Breathe" 24 hours a day, but when the lights on they make more oxygen than they use.

It might be worth using some other form of airation overnight.
