found that last night, for a microsoft product its not too bad really

I found Windows Movie Maker didn't work properly unless you had the latest version of Windows XP. Early versions had issues.

You can try Nero. They let you download a trial version and if you like it you can buy a product key that allows you to keep using it after a month. It's pretty simple and straight forward to use. If you buy a DVD burner then you quite often get a copy of Nero with the burner.

well ive been using windows movie maker and seem to be getting on ok with that for the moment

must admit to never having looked a Windows movie maker. i tend to use Adobe Premiere, but for the ease of use i think Nero Vision, does a very good job.

The best thing i find is, use avs video to convert it to avi, then open in wndows movie maker and edit it, then when saving go to file, save movie file, and when you come to the screen where it says, other settings, choose small high quality video, and it will save the file around 4-15mb which is easy and quicker to upload.

Nero is good also, i use the nero 7 enhanced version, (free if you know what i mean ;)) pm if u dont.

TNero is good also, i use the nero 7 enhanced version, (free if you know what i mean ;)) pm if u dont.
looks like you got your Nero from the same shop i get my Premier from. i picked up my NERO 7+++ sealed from a car boot last spring for £5. Got 8+++ but can see nothing in it to make the change worth it. i admit its often like there is a Torrent of software about :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Nero 8 is a defninite no no no, its a joke, they have changed way to much and its for the worse.. on the mian screen, there is not even a way to acess dvd and off shortcuts like 7. its also got a problem with choosing book types as well..

On nero 8, everytime i burnt a dvd using shrink or decrypt that uses nero's internal burn engine, it selects the wrong type automatically on nero and burns it all to pot and they dont play on ya dvd player...

Everythings has to be done manually and setup individually unlike nero 7..

Like i said, its a joke, if ya got nero 7, ultra/enhanced/other then no ned to change.

I get all my stuff using newsreaders ;) (dedicated servers)

Personally Adobe Premiere Pro

Me too but if you buy it its bloody expensive and not exactly user friendly. For easy of use and cost Microsoft movie maker is the way to go but if you want to do anything cool then Adobe Prem Pro cant be beat.
