I have just introduced 10 Cardinal Tetras to a 125 litre tank containing 5 Pearl Danios and 3 Cory Catfish, the Danios immediately started pestering the Tetras; charging them and even pecking at them! I have just removed them and am currently floating them in a bowl at the surface, however I'm not sure what to do as I'm worried they will continue to terrorise the tetras if I reintroduce them! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

This happend in my 60 gallon tank when i first had 6 neons already in there and i introduced 6 more neons a couple weeks after i had my frist dozen. The old neons staretd terrorizing my newly purchased neons. I think this is because every fish is used to its number of speicies it encounters in a small area such as a fish tank, and they get to know eachother u know? And i guess when u put in more fish of the same species in the tank couple weeks later, the terrorzing will happen once u put the newly fish in there. Well i just left my newly neons in there and like 2 or 3 days later everything went back to normal and i mean everything. Maybe u should just leave them in there? Are they badly wounded? Good luCk!

It sound's like Danio's being Danio's to me, and as Cardinals are a little more sudued than them and abit more ragile, there not taking the pestering very well.

Although I would have thought in a group of 10 (witch is alot of fish to add all in one go.) they would far a little better.

I personaly would take ther cardenals back, and re think your tank set up. :)
