I'm pretty worried about one of three endlers I just bought. After a traumatic bagging, I floated the bag into my tank for an hour. After this hour, I took the top of it and submerged it, letting the fish swim out of their own accord. One fish darted to the back, flicking up gravel trying to bury itself. This is the one I'm worried about. It's hidden itself behind a pile of rocks and is breathing very fast.
I just went up to check on it, and it was swimming around behind the rocks as though trapped. I lifted one rock and moved it away so it could definitely get out, but by that time it was just resting on the gravel again.
The other two seem to have settled in instantly, eating bits of algae on the gravel but staying together.
Is there anything I can do to help? I obviously don't want to disturb it too much as I really don't want to loose him. Will it have just been the bagging and move into the new tank that made him this way?
Thank you for any advice. :)

Are your water parameters similar to those in the shop? pH, hardness and temperature? I normally acclimatise to make sure they match.

Switch the lights off, that will help the fish settle.

Also it is good practice to not put shop water into your own tank.

I didn't want to put in the water, but I didn't really have a choice. I decided that netting them would be too stressful.
I didn't test the shops paras, but mine are all good. Ammonia 0, and the the bad N is 0 and the good n is around 20.
I turned the lights off, too.

have you tested all your water stats

Yes, just did, they're all good :good:
-To your edit: Yep, water is heated. If it wasn't, I think the platies would have been a bit off too, but they're showing no signs of being unhappy, they're just acting as normal :)

The one I was worried about has come out and is now near the surface near the corner. He seems to be okay for now. The other two are doing really well, still fine, seeming settled, nibbling on bits of algae!

Normally the shop will tell you these if you ask. For example, a change from pH 6.0 to 8.0 in one go can severely stress the fish.

Okay, thank you :)
He's actually doing a lot better now. He's swimming round the tank and nibbling on the plants. Such an improvement!
Thank you for all your suggestions :) I'll keep you updated if anything else happens! :D
