got mine today, excellent fish

the Xiphophorus alvarezi yellow female had dropped 18 fry in her bag so thats what i call a bargain!!!!!!!!!

LOL I'll let Dave know but these fish do like to live in groups and breeding just a pair can be difficult so your off to a great start now.

I got the pygmy swordtails a couple of weeks ago - 2 males 2 females. One of the females was obviously pregnant. She started behaving oddly yesterday evening so I put her in one of my homemade traps. By mid morning today she'd had 4 fry and they're huge! She's only the same size as my endler females, and I don't know how they managed to fit inside her. They're much bigger than endler fry, quite a surprise for such a small fish.
