i had that happen... but i jus put them all in 1 10 gallon.. then disease killed them all.... i have 4 left.. jus dumped em in big tank... i gave up on the fry tank thing.. im jus gonna put them in bowls .. only 2 have grown to sexual maturity... both of them are boring plain females lol.. i saw 1 today.. dont know if theyre both still alive even... good luck raising them.. nice lamps lol

Thank you all for the replies. But your not gonna believe this.....another female is having babies right now I'm getting really tired of this livebearer crap

Probably not the route you'd want to take but...
guppy fry make great livefood for frogs, crabs and bigger fish!

Actually, I probably wouldn't be able to do that either - my frog eats stuff that's already dead

lol, good caption. But i have to update you. I donated Ripley and another adult female to the lfs store with 20 guppy fry, because the females were having just too many, too soon. So what i did I do today? Went out and bought another pepper cory to go with the other 4, then BC picked out a fancy male guppy and i picked a half black leopard female. Never seen anything like her before, so i bought her spur of the moment.....ya I'm not too bright

The key to not having very much fry is to not have females. I have quite a bit of fry too but i cant get rid of guppies cuz my brother is the owner of the guppies and wants more. im trying to get rid of all my fish and start a cichlid tank

Which makes me not so bright, because i know this by now But man, buying fish is just as addictive as buying shoes!! I will try to post pictures of the new male and female guppy when they stop being camera shy!
