Very high Nitrates even after major water changes

Im probably late for the party but
1-Why use RO water?
2-Forget the bacteria in a bottle, donate your $$ to the poor.
3-Test kits will drive you crazy.
4- Do not change the filter media, rinse only and re-use. This is where your bacteria lives.
5-Seachem Prime, good.
6-Frequent water changes, good.
7-Pleco in a 55... good for a while, think about relocating him at some point, but Im sure you've heard that.

You should be set to go.

Tank and fish are fine. Yes I have larger tanks on standby, that was not the point of this post.
