so ive noticed a few posts requesting a general chat in here lately.. but ive also found it funny that so many topics are going off topic and becoming "general chat" about stuff anyways.. personally id take it as a sign that a general chat forum would be greatly appreciated. im sure all the mods/members against it are gunna say "its been discussed.. blah blah" but im just saying personally it seems like a good idea cuz a lot of topics develope into nothing anyways, and it may prevent this (and un-named mods constantly having to close topics) from being a regular occurance. might jsut be me tho, i may be wrong and just thought i noticed it more then i have.. so im just throwing my oppinion out there, in hopes i wont get yelled at

It was discussed at length the last time and decided that it wasn't a good idea. Threads do get off topic but usually just general stuff and they die shortly afterwards. I wasn't a member when they had GC before so I can't say that I know what it was like but it was apparently very bad since they did away with it. So, like the other "we need a GC forum" threads, this one is closed too.
