Got a bit of a shock yesterday when I noticed one of my (rather large) Amano shrimps looked a bit odd and on closer inspection has hundreds of eggs stuck to her swimerettes.
There's this mass of dark, moss green underneath her, undulating and rather fascinating to watch.
Is it worth popping her into a spare tank in a few weeks for them to hatch, then after taking her back out, going the whole process of converting it to marine until they metamorphose into shrimps, then reducing it to brackish and gradually FW
Does anyone have personal experiences to share about hatching and raising Amano? Any comments on the survival rate? I pretty much know the theory, just trying to work out if it's worth doing or if it's just better off to let the fish have a tasty treat?

my berried females from a while ago - they are berried all the time now :( really got to get round to doing the breeding thing)
