6 bettas seems like overstocking, sorry. guppies are great, I love them myself. super easy and very colorful. but if you want a betta you could just get one and a few other schooling fish like I have. I keep female guppies with a male betta and they get along, but he is a special betta.

So, I went out and got 2 guppies and the most beautiful blue betta you've ever seen. Seriously. It's like midnight blue, glittery and the tail slowly gets lighter. It's 3 fins fan out and form a full half moon.
The other bettas kind of ugly but it was only a dollar.
 
Ploped them all in today and they seem to be doing fine. The bettas kind of nip guppies that go near them but they seem to have settled down.

I'm hoping you got both female bettas, although it's still not right that you only have 2.
You want 4+ to help spread the aggression, as they can be just as mean, if not meaner, than the males.
Also not sure how those guppies are going to turn out..
