Veggies for goldfish?

Do any of you give your golds vegetables?

If so, what kind? Lettuce, cucumber slices?

Peas, good for there diet as they are prone to swim bladder problems.

Should I shell them first? (haha that sounds so tedious)

Put them in boiling water for a few minutes till they soften, the just pop out of shell, my fancy goldfish love them.

yep. deffinately. they love it. my goldies and plecos love blanched broccoli (just so it's soft). they demolish every little bit over night ( and I put about a cup full in). Plus they like blanched silverbeet/spinach or if you have it Puha. it's a nz weed that the maoris eat, but tastes like spinach, has yellow flowers on. anyway, anything green basically. lettuce also

Ours used to love brocolli, and as someone else said above, softened peas out of their shells are really good for them as well B)
