Veggies for goldfish?

Besides peas, spinach, and broccoli, what greens or vegetables do goldfish like?

Grow Duckweed and Ambulia in the tank for them to eat. If they eat it all, grow the plants outside in a pond and bring some in each week for the goldfish.

Do you have to cook the cucumber to make it soft enough for them to eat?

Zucchini is another one. No I never do with cucumber but blanch the zucchini for a little to soften

I have tried both duckweed and anacharis. My fish love them, but I can't get them to grow, so have to keep buying more every time I want to treat my fish to them.

Set up a pond specifically for growing the plants. Add fertiliser and give them lots of light and the plants will grow. Then you can take cuttings and put the cuttings in with the goldfish.

Sorry for the late arrival... on vacation! Mine love cucumber, not so crazy about zucchini. They love peas bleached and peeled too. For an added treat, peel a slice of orange and give it to them. They’ll go nuts!
