I've had 5 white cloud mountain minnows in my aquarium for 2 weeks now and have been feeding them flake foods, and i read somewhere that they eat vegetables??? -_-

Is this true? If so what vegetables could i feed them?

Peas are good, cook them til soft, take them out of the skin, chop the inner part of the pea up nice and small and they should eat it. To be honest i think a lot of it comes down to the individual fish cos someone on here advised me to try cucumber and courgette cos their guppies love it, i added and they ignored it and the brocolli i gave them but fought like maniacs over the peas.

try tinned veg, any sort. but keep an eye on the salt content. that aside, tinned veg may well be the best to feed. as all the fibre is available to your fish, without having to let the veg degrade too much.

Try them on various different veg and just see what they like. As long as it's softened enough for them to be able to munch on it you can try it. You'll soon see what they like and what they don't
