Vecton V2 600 Uv Sterilizer

dont know to much about the new models but i have 2 x vectron 25w

one of my units has been running for 12yrs non stop i have had no problems at all

all i do is change the tubes once per year as i use the arcadia tube which last longer than the normal tubes which only last 6 months

i also change the hose conections every 5yrs as they wear away

TMC vectron are the best UV on the market

I have a Vecton 2 400 and have been very pleased with it. Tank water clarity has been amazing. It is large and I would expect the 600 to be larger still. This gave problems with the instructions which said to mount it horizontally! The cabinet for my Rena 120 was way too small for that and I contacted Vecton about mounting it vertically. Their reply was in the affirmatve and I mounted it just slightly off the vertical. See:

thanks guys, will probably buy one, but i can get them online for £75, do you think if i printed the page out and took it to maidenhead aquatics they would match the price as they want £95 there. the reason i want to buy from maidenheads is i have a gift voucher. Cheers anyway guys, Adam

hiya i have two Vecton V2 600 Uv Sterilizer and two bigger ones never used them since i brought them early in the year brought them second hand so cant help u m8 sorry
have been told they aree good but cant say as not used them as yet my m8 has borrowed one of the 600 from me to helpout hes 4ft tank will ask him 2mrw ie fri if he has used it yet

I use the V2 600 on my tank and have had no problems in the tank so would go as far as to say they are good. Its one of those things you never really know if its doing a good job or not.
