I'm interested in the Juwel tank and stand. Can I have your post code (so I can work out coming to pick it up) and also are there any pics?

*edit* just been on the phone to my LFS... have you tried new bulbs? (he says that if one bulb stops working, neither of them will work) - you've probably already checked this but if its a choice between a £16 bulb or me risking messing up the fix and then paying £90 for a new unit, I know which I'd prefer hehe.

Hi Peter, how feasible would it be to post one of those 4'x1' tank lids to me? What sort of postage and packaging cost would be involved, if you are happy to entertain the idea?

Do they have ready made slots for feeding in external filter lines and a T8 lighting system?

I finally got a second hand 48x12x15 running for some young fish (Ilyodon xantusi; Synodontis decora/nigriventris/congica/flavitaeniata; Microsynodontis polli; Hypoptopoma sp.2(?); Megalechis thoracata) earlier this week, but it came with no lid and I'm currently having to use two condensation trays and a "fish towel" to cover all escape routes!:fun:

that should be fine as royal mail standard parcels send upto 1.5 meter parcels and the 48 hood is only 120cm ish and they dont weigh that much so at a guess id say about £4-£7 but it has the holes in the back for the light cap ends to go in .... use 42inch tubes though alot of people try 48" and its just never works lol
and i think one of the hoods already has a bit cut out at either end for the external filter pipes

ill take a pic later and post it up for you and see what you think :)
